MUSICAL ROOTS
I grew up in a very musical environment. In my house when it came to melodic expression, there was a versatility of which I am ever to hold close, embracing my roots. A home where do-wop and rhythm & blues held as strong a stage as opera; classical blazed as formidably as jazz; Broadway styled show tunes jumped and glided along side a sea of pop tunes; and "Tumbling Tumbleweed"! No way can I possibly leave out the country and western songs of the singing cowboys; and from an early-extended experience; Latin litanies cruised parallel to spiritual hymns poised with devil bustin down home gospel.
The goal of this site's inclusiveness is as unrestricted and impersonal as the ever expanding and versatility of my musical roots.
