HIGHLAND PARK out did the field when it came to collar county entertainment weekends. Let's see there was Tony "I Left My Heart In San Francisco" Bennett for two nights. Amdur Production's "Port Clinton Art Show" which displayed such a wide variety of consumables for your palate. There was international artistry from around the globe with their pricey to moderate and even inexpensive sculpture, paintings, jewelry and music.
What I really took to were canvases that had such a vivid reality that you could hardly tell it was photography done by a process known as Giclée (pronounced "zhee-clay" ) by Louis Cantillo of Scottsdale, AZ.
And of course to cap the weekend off was none other than the two night Ravinia Park sold out performances of American Idol alumni and award immersed Carrie Underwood.
